A book exhibition was organized by the University Information and Resources Centre on 14th and 15th of January, 2015. The exhibition was held at the Kashmere Gate campus of the University for the students of the University School of Architecture and Planning (USAP). Books from various leading publishers were exhibited and the students had an opportunity to check out books related to their subjects and other fields of interest. The books covered a plethora of topics like Green Architecture, Detailing, Interiors, and Construction etc. The effort was really appreciated by the students of USAP who stated that this initiative has informed them about the availability of various books in the market. When asked about her thoughts on the exhibition, a student said, “What I appreciate the most is that if we like a book that is too expensive, then we can recommend that book to be obtained by the library.” It was a successful event and the students look forward to more such exhibitions, not just for USAP but also for other schools within the university.
