The Legal Aid Centre of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is committed to promoting legalawareness, socialjustice, and access to legal remedies for marginalized and underprivileged communities. Guided by Article39A of the Constitution of India and the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987, the Centre actively conducts legal literacy campaigns, awareness drives, out reach programmes, mediation initiatives, and socio-legal activities aimed at fostering legal consciousness and civic responsibility. The Centre also provides law students with experiential learning opportunities that nurture professional ethics, advocacy skills, leadership, and social responsibility, thereby contributing to wards the creation of a more informed, inclusive, and legally aware society.

To create an inclusive and legally aware society where justice, equality, and access to legal remedies are available to every individual, irrespective of socio-economic status. The Legal Aid Centre envisions empowering marginalized and underrepresented communities through legal awareness, community engagement, and access to legal assistance while fostering constitutional values, social responsibility, and civic consciousness.
The Centre also aspires to cultivate socially responsible legal professionals by encouraging law students to actively participate in legal aid, outreach programmes, and community service initiatives, there by strengthening the ideals of justice, empowerment, and participatory democracy.

The Legal Aid Centre believes that access to justice is a fundamental right and not merely a privilege available to a few. Through legal awareness drives, outreach activities, awareness camps, mediation workshops, surveys, and community interaction programmes, the Centre strives to make legal knowledge accessible to all sections of society, particularly marginalized and underrepresented communities.
