"Knowledge is power", the age old adage holds good for pepris,
the technical paper presentation event as the future technocrats from
different parts of the country present their views on the latest in
the IT industry.
Rules of the event
Suggestive Topics for Pepris are:-

" Multi media Databases
" Data Compression (especially in multi media applications)
" Blue Tooth Technology
" 3D simulation-Virtual Reality
" Network Security " CRM
" Object Oriented Databases
" Data interpretation/Remote Sensing
" Design and Architecture of Unix/Unix based OS
" Latest Software design methodologies
" Mobile or Wireless Computing
" Molecular Microprocessors
" Distributed Computing
" Embedded computing
" N-Tier Architecture
" Quantum Computing
" Artificial Intelligence
Apart from above, papers from other technical topics will also be accepted.
Each technical paper may have a maximum of 2 authors.
An abstract of the paper (not exceeding 1000 words) must reach us by
5th February, 2007, failing which the paper will not be accepted at
If the paper is found to be copied not only shall the
paper be summarily rejected, the team being represented by the participants
shall also be penalized.
Any paper that is submitted but not presented shall not
qualify for prizes in the Olympus
The presenters shall be provided with LCD/OH projectors
and the presenters may prepare accordingly
The authors of the papers shall be notified in advance
as to whether their paper has been accepted for presentation or not.
Each paper shall be given 10(+2) minutes of presentation
time, followed by rounds of questioning by the Judges and the audience
The authors must submit 4 copies of the paper with double
spacing on a font size 12, prior to the presentation, with pages numbered
and index mentioned clearly.
Each participant must mark his attendance at least 1-hour
before the start of the event
The abstracts and the paper may be submitted in the following
formats : .pdf, .txt, .doc
