USMC Bestowed With Prestigious B-award

  
University School of Mass Communication was conferred with the prestigious DNA-STAR Industry Innovative B-School Leadership Award-2014 for innovation, leadership, development and industry interface in a grand ceremony on 17.02.2014 at the hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai.

In the award function VCs of many central and state universities namely: Central University of Jharkhand, Central University of Gujarat, Pondicherry University, Himachal Pradesh University, along with directors/ head of prestigious management and engineering institutions/schools/faculties/departments such as IIM-Rohtak, IBS-Mumbai and University of Hyderabad (school of management studies) remained present to receive the award for their respective institution.

On such a glorified achievement Professor C.P.Singh, Dean , USMC said “Is as much a brand in GGSIPU more than IITS and IIMS, we were the only university from delhi .It was a pleasant surprise to see us in the league of Department of Management studies(IIT, Roorki and IIT, Delhi), Xavier Institute of Communication Studies(Mumbai) and TISS. I was unaware of this award, we were recommended from an unknown source. Dr R.L Bhatia, founder CRSD refused to share who recommended us. We just moved to a new campus after all constraints we move ahead. We are young, despite that achievement we took it as a challenge and pride, we have to work hard”.

USMC is the youngest school in the university .This award attributes to students, staff, and leadership of university management everyone working under one umbrella, which leads to the achievement of pride and honour.
