3rd Indraprastha National Moot Court Competition 2014

  
University School of Law and Legal Studies organized its 3rd Indraprastha National Moot Court Competition 2014 from 10th to 12th October at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Dwarka, Delhi.

About 46 teams from Colleges and Universities across the country participated in this competition, which include some of the country’s best Law schools and ace institutions. This year’s competition highlights the issue of environment of legal discourse and debate on matters of criminal and constitutional law. The competition got to see participants from law schools across the nation battling it out to win the prestigious trophy along with the cash prize.

The final competition occurred between the top two teams of Nirma University and RGNUL Patiala which was judged by some of the country’s finest legal minds, an esteemed panel comprising of Hon'ble Mr. Justice AK Sikri, Hon'ble Mr. Justice UU Lalit, Hon'ble Mr. Justice G.S Sistani, Hon'ble Ms. Justice Mukta Gupta, Sr. Advocate Siddharth Luthra, Prof. (Dr.) M. Afzal Wani.

The competition promised to result three days of constructive engagement in legal discourses and argumentation. In this day and age of society, it is the need of the hour for young students to deliberate and debate on laws and INMCC2014 strongly believes in contributing to the same.
