Convergence of body, mind and soul is essential for optimum outcome. This convergence should be in coherent and conductive way for better results. In the light of this, The University School of Management Studies (USMS), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducted a National conference on Mind and Management on November 7.
The conference aimed to provide a common platform for the corporate leaders, management practitioners, thinkers, academicians and students to deliberate on various issues, challenges and strategies required by corporate sector for managing mind, behaviour, processes and organizations in the complex global environment ensuring the long-term growth.
The registration of Delegates started from 9.30 am to 11.00 am followed by Inaugural function in the campus. Around 50 papers were presented in the seminar on the subject by the experts coming from different parts of the country. Each presenter took 6 minutes to present the paper.
The conference covered the keynote lectures along with paper presentations. The proceedings of the conference are also published in order to provide access to all this useful information to wider section of the society and the industry at large. The seminar covered original papers from Academicians, Industry Professionals, Doctoral Scholars, Consultants, NGO’s, and Management Students.
The students were immensely satisfied with the conduct of the conference when enquired by our reporter and strongly feel that this would certainly prove to be beneficial to them in future when they would enter the fields of Human Resource Management.
