Mr. Parijat Mathur is working as a Asstt. Professor in the University School of Information Technology, GGS Indraprastha University , Delhi . He holds a Master of Technology degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering (November 2002 - December 2004) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (H.B.T.I.), Kanpur whilst also having topped the university. He has specialized in Digital Mobile Radio Systems (major) & Digital Communications (minor) in his masters course. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering (June 1998 - June 2002) from University of Bombay with specialization in Mobile Communication Systems (major). He has working experience on Mentor Graphics (Eldo/Xelga) simulation tools, Cadence (Opus/Virtuoso) layout tools & Mentor Graphics (Calibre DRC/LVS/RVE, STAR-RC) validation tools acquired during his masters internship in STMicroelectronics, Noida. He has also worked on RF propagation modeling/survey/drive-test using Ericsson TEMS equipment & software tool, cellular network optimization & cellular network design/planning in the mobile cellular telecommunications industry. He has worked extensively on communications system design, simulation & performance analysis in MATLAB particularly on GSM, CDMA / IS-95 a/b, WCDMA, CDMA 2000 / IS-2000, IEEE 802.11-original/b, & HiperLan-1 standards especially in PHY layer modem technologies in his Masters/Bachelors project/research works. His teaching interests lie in Mobile Communications, Communication Theory & Digital Communications. His areas of research interest are Advanced Digital Modem Schemes, Signal Design & Detection Criteria & CDMA Switched Systems.
