Business Source Complete (BSC), provides collection of bibliographic and full text content, offers indexing and abstracting of searchable cited references for more than 1,300 journals dating back 1886 - 2010.

Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC), provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracting for more than 500 journals, and selected coverage of 190 journals, for a combined coverage of more than 690 titles and includes full text for over 380 journals.

GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. The database provides indexing and abstracting for more than 3,84,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 4,700 records.

Open Archives Initiative The Open Archives Initiative develops and promotes interoperability standards that aim to facilitate the efficient dissemination of content. Open journal publishers SHERPA project is investigating issues surrounding the development and use of open access E-print repositories. RoMEO Project (Rights MEtadata for Open archiving) is funded by the Joint Information Systems Committee for one year (01August 2002 - 31 July 2003) to investigate the rights issues surrounding the 'self-archiving' of research in the UK academic community under the Open Archive Initiative's Protocol for Metadata Harvesting.

OpenMED@NICis a discipline based International Archive. It accepts both published and unpublished documents having relevance to research in Medical and Allied Sciences including Bio-Medical, Medical Informatics, Dental, Nursing and Pharmaceutical Sciences. These could be preprints (pre-refereed journal paper), postprints (refereed journal paper), conference papers, conference posters, presentations, technical reports/departmental working papers and theses. Submitted documents will be placed into the submission buffer and would become part of OpenMED archive on their acceptance.
