UNDERTAKING FOR COMPLIANCE WITH

THE CONDITIONS FOR AFFILIATION PRESCRIBED BY

THE INDRAPRASTHA VISHWAVIDYALAYA, DELHI

On behalf of ……………………………….. (name of Society/Trust), and having been duly authorized by the Management of the ……………………………………….. (name of the Society/Trust), the undersigned gives an undertaking that the ……………………………….... name of the Society/Trust) shall adhere to the provisions of the Act, the statutes, the ordinances and regulations of the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya (hereinafter called the Vishwavidyalaya) and to comply with the standing orders and the directions of the Vishwavidyalaya which includes besides other, the below listed salient conditions for the purpose of affiliation.

In the event of non-compliance of the provisions of the Act, the Statutes; the Ordinances and the Regulations of the Vishwavidyalaya and the standing orders and directions of the Vishwavidyalaya,, the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya would be in its rights to order the suspension/withdrawal of affiliation, in part or in whole to …………………………………………….…… (name of the institution/college) (hereinafter called the Institution/College) and/or may take further actions in accordance with the provisions of the Indraprastha Vishwavidyalaya Act, Statutes and Ordinances.

1. It is managed by a Governing body constituted as specified in the Vishwavidyalaya regulations.

2. It fulfils the General and programme specific norms and standards as specified in Vishwavidyalaya regulations.

3. It has teachers and other employees who have the laid down qualifications and fulfil the other eligibility criteria and who are, in the number required as per the norms laid down by the Vishwavidyalaya.

4. It provides for teaching, courses of studies and curriculum approved by Vishwavidyalaya.

5. The emoluments of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institution/ college are in correspondence with those laid down for the corresponding posts in the Vishwavidyalaya.

6. Admissions shall be made in full compliance with admission standards and procedures as prescribed by the Government or the Vishwavidyalaya.

7. Admissions in excess of the sanctioned intake shall not be made under any circumstances whatsoever.

8. Admission quota for payment, free and NRI seats shall be strictly adhered to for each course of study.

9. The Institution/College shall charge from the students only such tuition and other fees and charges as are prescribed by the Vishwavidyalaya / Government from time to time.

10. The Institution/College shall establish adequate linkages with industrial establishments and academic institutions for enhancing both quality and relevance of education.

11. The Institution/College shall not conduct any full time or part time or distance education within its premises, without the specific prior permission of the Vishwavidyalaya.

12. The Institution/College shall not without the previous permission of the Vishwavidyalaya suspend instruction in any subject or course of study, where it is authorised to teach and teaches.

13. The Institution/College shall not file a court case against the Vishwavidyalaya in any court of law on any grievance without giving at least 30 days written notice to the Vishwavidyalaya to enable it to redress the grievance. Notice period of 30 days shall be counted only from the date of delivery of the notice in the Office of the Registrar (Academic) either by hand or by registered post or by speed post or by courier.
