Detailed plan for establishment of the institution and its growth

Requirement from the year 2000 AD onwards

This should ideally be assessed from a professionally developed project report, giving justification for selection of courses, space requirement and phased plan for construction, yearly financial requirements, strategy for ensuring quality in education, etc.

In case there are court cases or disputes, details should be submitted.

·         The Trust/Society should ideally not have a court case against any statutory body concerned in any area in professional education. In case there is one, the same would be considered for its effect on affiliation to be accorded.

·         The properties or finances of the Society/Trust should not be under any dispute or their use constrained under court directions.

·         There should also be  no existing or likely legal hurdle to smooth establishment or functioning of the institution,

Proof of financial strength of the Society/ Trust:

·         to provide complete infrastructure for the institution (buildings, equipment, furniture, furnishings, support services,  etc. and

·         to deposit endowment fund equal to 3 months projected peak recurring expenditure or a higher amount as prescribed by the University, jointly with the concerned State Government or University authority

Rs. 50 lakhs in FD and proof of further fund availability  as establishment of institution progresses

·         FD for Rs. 50 lakhs must be in the name of the Society/ Trust only.

·         Proof that further funds would be available at the times required should be convincing and not based on expectations or promises.  To establish the institution from the collected fees shall discouraged  as the fees are, by and large, intended to meet recurring expenditures.

·         The applicant should also demonstrate how shortfalls in funds for recurring expenditures (expected in the first 2 years) would be met.

·         No loan should be taken against the FD.

·         Provided with water purifiers (not filters) and water coolers of adequate capacity for the student and staff population

If owned, registration papers for both the buildings and land should indicate legal possession by the Society/Trust
