The IETE Students Forum of GGSIPU was inaugurated on the 26th of March, 2004. The President of IETE and Former Vice-Chancellor of GGSIPU, Prof. K.K.Aggarwal launched the official website of IETE-SF-GGSIPU. AirCmd. P.D.Badoni , the Managing Editor of IETE, gave a brief introduction about IETE.

A list of events that have been organized by the IETE students forum of GGSIPU is given below :

1. Graphics Challenge (27th March'04) :-Graphics challenge aims at testing your proficiency in using graphics and animation software's as well as creativity.

2. Technical Quiz (28th March'04) :-The quiz is for the techies, aimed at applauding the geniuses that have the grey cells burning all the time for the newest in the techno babble and the hottest of the technologies around.

3. Blood Donation Camp (10th April, 2004) :- The Blood Donation Camp was organized in association with the Red Cross Society. The response received for this event was overwhelming. Students turned up in huge numbers to donate blood.

4. Seminar on Real Time Operating Systems (25th September, 2004) :- At the seminar, presentations on Real Time Operating Systems were given by speakers from Appin India. The talks were quite informative for the students as the topic of discussion was one of high relevance.

5. Mega Quiz (18th January, 2005) :- A general quiz was organized at the campus auditorium. The event received huge participation from students of all disciplines.

6. Seminar (11th February, 2006) :- University School of Information Technology, GGSIPU is organizing seminar VLSI Design, sponsored by CODE & Development Electronics Ltd and IETE Student Forum, (ISF-GGSIPU) on 11th February 2006 (Saturday).
